I use traditional embroidery skills - primarly thread painting, stumpwork and goldwork - in innovative ways. Much of my work explores aspects of my autism. Recent works have focused on monotropism (autistic hyperfocus), anxiety and difficulties with eye contact, and bees and their ecology.
